FitBox June has Shipped!

Hey FitBoxers,

Heads up, your FitBox Samples mailer for June is on the way. I hope your season is starting to heat up, we just held one of my favorite events here in San Diego – the Rock N’ Roll marathon. Its a killer event, with live rock music each and every mile.

For this month’s FitBox we’re showcasing 2 bars from an old favorite – Balance Bar. Both flavors are more decadent than most bars out there, so I’m sure you’ll enjoy them as a snack (or dessert). You’ll also find a non-caffeinated PowerGel from PowerBar, since a few members requested gel samples lacking caffeine. We pair our PowerGel with a lovely PowerBar Classic bar in Chocolate Brownie.

In addition to our past favorites, we ‘re highlighting a first time FitBox participant – Bear Naked Products. You’re probably familiar with their popular line of granola, but you might not know these products are also available in convenient power packs. Well now you do now – a power pack is inside your FitBox!

FitBox March has Shipped!

Hey FitBoxers,
We often receive requests for products low in sugar, so this month we’ve included a new protein bar from PowerBar which is specifically designed to be lower in sugar. Low sugar options are becoming more popular these days, so we’ll do our best to include more low sugar samples in the future. What do you think?

This month we’re going back to nature with an Omega3 daily supplement, and good old fashioned almonds. If you’re into CrossFit, you’ll love Cromega’s Omega3 “squeeze” product since there’s absolutely no fishy aftertaste. You joints will thank you!

We’ve also included a reminder that nature often creates the best snacks. Almonds make for a great snack when you need energy for the long haul, and this lightly salted option is perfect for stuffing in your cycling jersey. Plus, the small size will keep you from eating way too many in one sitting (once I eat the first almond, I can’t stop).

FitBox February has Shipped!

Hey FitBoxers,
I hope you’re not freezing your butts off too bad this winter. The good news is spring is just around the corner, so warmer days are coming soon.

This month we’ve included two new flavors from our friends at PR Bar. PR Bar is located right here in Southern California in Carlsbad. Carlsbad is famous for the fastest 5k run on the planet, the Carlsbad 5000, as well as the Carlsbad Marathon. I’m not sure if PR Bars will help you fun faster, but they do make for a nutritious snack. Enjoy!

Quite a few FitBox members enjoyed our previous sample of Super C, so we’ve included a new flavor as well as a new product from the same company, PureKick. PureKick is similar to an traditional electrolyte mix, but includes a boost of caffeine. PureKick is great when you don’t need to replace carbs, and I’ll admit I sometimes drink one on the way to work when I don’t have time for coffee (work is a workout after all).

FitBox January has Shipped!

Hey FitBoxers,
Happy new year! Now that the holiday season is behind us, its time to get ready for the spring training season. I definiteluy need to put in some serious base mileage, no matter how cold it is outside.

We’re kicking 2013 off by highlighting a few bars from our friends at CLIF. You’ve probably tried CLIF’s standard bars, so we’ve included a few of their lesser known, but just as yummy options. The Kids bar was a big hit last September, so we’re including a second flavor this month. I pretty much live on CLIF Mojos, so I hope you like them too.

Folks seemed to love the Bora Bora Bars, so we included an additional flavor this month. We’ve also included a second flavor of RAW Revolution bars, and a new flavor option from Trace Minerals.

For those of you who received FitBox as a gift – welcome aboard! And to everyone out there in FitBox-land, we wish you the very best in 2013!
